Visitors to Real Estate blogs want to search for properties and IDXnetwork provides a simple yet effective method for adding search functions into an unlimited number of sites or blogs. Just add our external search boxes into the post, page or sidebar of any site with the provided code in the Agent Admin of your IDX package. When the visitor clicks search they are returned to the results displayed on your IDXnetwork Website or IDX package for existing websites.

Traditional Quick Search – function which returns the client to a list view of available properties. This is commonly used in the sidebar, footer or anywhere you want a search box.

Map Search – This search returns the available properties on a Google Interactive Map. Clients can hover over the map pins for a brief overview of the property and link to the property details page. Additionally, a list of the results is provided on the left hand side of the map. This makes it easy for your clients to get to the property they want and sets them up for lead capture.

Show your clients the weather near their new home. It’s very easy to add weather badges into web pages, blog posts or incorporate into your design.

The fist step is to find a weather badge or widget that works best for your site. Here are a few recommended providers with lots of options.

Accuweather http://netweather.accuweather.com

Accuweather provides a simple to use interface which creates a badge in 9 sizes and 10 colors. Options include the ability to display current conditions, 5 day forecast, temperature, radar and precipitation maps.

This site has the most options, but can little more difficult to navigate.

Enter Zip or City, State, Airport, Country into the search box at the top of the page.

Scroll to the bottom of the results page and click on the Get Your Weather Sticker link on the left hand side of the page.
