Well I have to tell you, it did not take very long.  The template you helped me choose for my website at www.singer-island-condos.com is working better than expected in what is a very aggressively marketed real estate niche that I compete in.  We achieved first page ranking several months ago, so all told, I guess it took less than 4 months from when we started to make page one of google search.  Now we are exploring other adjacent towns to do the same thing.
I spent more in one month of advertising in the local newspaper than it cost me to set up my website with IDX.
